The Signup Process
Choosing a Plan
The first step is to choose the right plan for your directory. This will be determined by the number of families that you need to include. Choose the appropriate plan to proceed to the Signup page. If you need help determining which plan is right for you, don't hesitate to give us a call.
Entering Basic Church Information
Once you are on the Signup page, the first information you need to provide is your church name, address, and phone number. This will be displayed inside your directory as a reminder to your members. If you are setting up an online directory for something other than a church, select the Type of Organization from the dropdown provided.
Choosing a Subdomain
The subdomain field may be a little confusing. This is the part of your directory home page URL that you can customize. Many churches like to make this the same as the middle part of their web address, so if your web address is www.mychurch.com, you could make your directory address mychurch.courtyardapp.com.
Subdomains have to be unique, so if someone is already using the one you chose, you will have to choose a different one.
Creating Your Admin Login
The last thing you have to enter on the Signup page is your email address, and the password of your choice. Confirm your password and click the Proceed to Checkout button when you are ready to proceed.
Checkout
Courtyard subscriptions are processed through PayPal. Once you are on the Checkout page, click Checkout with PayPal to proceed. This will take you through the PayPal subscription process. You will need a PayPal account to complete this process. When you are done, you will be taken to your directory home page.

We do not support custom domains at this time, but we would like to support them in the future. Contact us if you are interested in this feature.
